FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers:

Remy hair is considered the finest quality of human hair since the cuticles are kept intact and in the same direction unlike most other non-remy hair extensions. Remy hair is known to be manageable and tangle free. It will also be softer and silkier than non-remy hair.

Virgin hair is chemically unprocessed human hair, which is collected from a single donor. Virgin hair has not been permed, colored treated, dyed, bleached, blow-dried, steam treated or gone through any other chemical processing. The manner in which the hair is gathered from the head of donors is designed to keep the hairs cuticles in proper alignment intact and in the same direction.

Raw hair, is by true definition virgin hair. Raw hair is 100% unprocessed hair collected from one donor. The hair is cut from the donor and immediately wrapped into a bundle in order to keep all cuticles intact and in the same direction. Raw Hair is defined as hair that has NOT been altered by steam or chemical processing in any way. Hair is from one donor there are no blended lengths or hair additives.

No two bundles are identical, especially with curly hair. Curl patterns will vary from bundle to bundle since all our hair is 100% natural from single donors.

Hair care varies from person to person. There are varied factors which will prolong the hair or have the opposite effect. Factors to consider are products used in hair, washing routine, heating processes and climate. Generally, with the proper care your Remy, Virgin or Raw hair should last up to and well beyond a year. This hair can last for a very long time (years) if maintained well.

We can make no guarantees concerning how much hair is needed as this is a personal consideration from person to person based on the desired fullness being sought. The longer the hair the shorter the weft so you will need more bundles for longer hairstyles than you will need for shorter hair styles. Stylist often recommend 14”-16” inches ~two bundles, 18”-26” inches ~three bundles, and for 28”-30” inches ~four bundles.

Yes you can straighten your hair Extensions. Take appropriate care as you would with your own to not burn your hair extensions.

When you cut the weft, you cut the stitching which can become loose and cause shedding if not sealed properly before cutting. We don’t recommend cutting the weft. If you must cut your weft please consult a professional stylist as we do not honor returns or exchanges on wefts which have been cut.
